Mandie McKeown
Director of Advocacy and Partnerships

Mandie McKeown

Mandie McKeown is a strategic advocacy, communications, and organizational leader with over twenty years of experience in the international non-profit sector. She holds a BA in Social Anthropology and South Asian Studies from SOAS, University of London, and has dedicated her career to building powerful coalitions, designing high-impact campaigns, and advancing transnational grassroots movements.

She has worked extensively with global networks of human rights defenders, civil society organizations, and marginalized communities, most recently as Executive Director of the International Tibet Network. Her experience spans executive leadership, campaign strategy, and stakeholder engagement, including coordinating high-profile international visits and delivering strategic training to hundreds of network members worldwide. Her work is grounded in the conviction that lasting change is community-led, decentralised, and built on meaningful collaboration.

Rashi Jauhri
Director of Campaigns

Rashi Jauhri

Rashi Jauhri is a strategic campaigns and advocacy specialist with over 15 years of experience helping global movements turn urgency into strategy and action that delivers results. Her work spans human rights, corporate accountability, environmental protection, and nuclear disarmament, with deep expertise in building people-powered campaigns, leading international coalitions, and delivering advocacy impact across complex political environments. She has worked extensively in high-risk and highly restricted contexts, supporting rapid responses, long-term strategy, and coordinated international pressure.

Jauhri is recognised for strategic judgement, coalition leadership, and a long-standing commitment to justice, diplomacy, and non-violent change.

Gloria de Waal-Montgomery
Legal and Policy Advisor

Gloria de Waal-Montgomery

Gloria de Waal-Montgomery is a legal and policy adviser with over twelve years of experience in international human rights. She holds an LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the University of Essex and has spent her career using international human rights law and mechanisms to advance accountability for human rights and environmental abuses.

She has worked extensively with human rights defenders and with Indigenous and minority communities. Earlier in her career, she worked at Amnesty International and gained experience within the UN human rights system through the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). Her work is grounded in the conviction that those most affected by human rights abuses deserve meaningful access to justice and the opportunity to participate directly in the decisions that affect their lives.
